I call this week’s photo, “Shimmer and Shine”. This past Saturday was the first competition of the 2023 skating season for me, and since the week’s prompt was “details” it seemed very appropriate for me to take a photo of the details of my figure skating dress.

Many of these rhinestones were added by me to supplement the ones that were on the dress when I purchased it. And I’m really proud of how the dress came out. It was a labor of love, but it added something to how I felt when wearing the dress.

I like how in this photo the rhinestones that aren’t in focus close up lead your eye to the ones that are. I really like the lines.
