52 Frames. Week 20: High Key

I’m behind on posting these here, but I did take photos for the last two prompts. Two weeks ago, the prompt was “High Key”, which “[s]imply put, it means that most of your frame is bright!”.

We took a trip to the zoo on a Friday afternoon and spent some time hanging out in the newly built birdhouse where all of the birds are able to fly around freely. I managed to capture this shot of a little bird hanging out in this lovely tree overhead. By not making any adjustments in post, this shot qualified for the week’s extra challenge “Straight Out Of The Camera”.

I really like this photo with the background that is almost pure white because of the sunlight coming in, but keeps the leaves and the little bird in bright color and focus.
