This week’s photo brought a lot of challenges. I had a lot of ideas, but not as much time as I would want to execute them all. But this challenge isn’t about making everything perfect. It’s about completing the prompt within the time frame. So, this is the one that came out the best in the time I had. The lyric I chose was from Taylor Swift’s Blank Space.

“But I’ve got a blank space baby, and I’ll write your name.”

I chose to take this in a very literal direction, creating a full list of names and leaving a blank space at the bottom of the list with the pen there waiting for a new name to be added. By writing out so many names, I was hoping to capture how unhinged and obsessive the song and that line are.
