Well, my plan to continually update while in the Czech Republic failed rather miserably. Every time I thought about it, something else would come up and I would get distracted by that project for a bit…and I’m sure you can see how the vicious cycle continued. But, I did manage to keep my travel journal up-to-date and I will continue that through the next semester during my studies in Egypt. So, make sure to keep watching me as I travel. Should be a lot of fun this semester. Especially, with all of the terror stuff going on.

While I’ve been back in the States, I haven’t done a whole lot. I’m currently working on a short miniseries with some of my friends with our “film company”, Awkward Trio Productions. I’m not going to give away too much on it yet, as we are still in the works. But, we have plans to finish writing it in the late spring and then to cast and shoot it over the summer. The ultimate goal is to have it up and online around October/November of 2010. I’m also working on some independent scripts, which I will hopefully post here in the future. We’ll see though…I’m still unsure on that.

I’ve been doing a lot of housekeeping with my life since I got back. Simplifying things both online and in real life. It’s nice. And so, while in the process of this simplification, I managed to update the film section here as well as the make-up and costumes section. The photo section is going to take me a little bit longer, but I’ll get it updated over the next few weeks…definitely before I leave the country again.

I’ve also been following the news a bit more than normal since I got back. It seems that watching the current events has actually attracted my attention…probably has something to do with the lack of TV shows in English in the Czech Republic…anyway, what I’ve found is a bunch of media articles. Iranian filmmakers still making films even when banned, the new advance towards 3-D television, etc., etc. That’s a lot going on in the media world. I’ll write more on all that stuff later though.

I just wanted to update and let everyone know that I’ve posted new stuff and I had a great time in Europe.
