I spent the long Labor Day weekend with my former college roommate and her husband down in North Carolina – about 5 hours south of where I live. One of the things we did was take a trip out to the Carolina Tiger Rescue and go on a tour. There were some very excellent big cats and this tiger, Samar, was one of them!

For me, this challenge was a little nerve-wracking. Turning over creative control on an image that you shot takes a lot of courage. Especially when you aren’t sure what they’re gonna do with it. But, overall I like the way it turned out. A great collaborative edit.
