This week’s challenge proved more difficult than I thought. I realize how much I hadn’t been paying attention to anyone’s work beyond my own. So I took a shortcut and used a recommended framer from the prompt and began poking around.

And doing that is where I fell in love with this photo from Sonia Pusey. I wasn’t able to get an exact replica of her photo, but I was hoping this definitely would give a similar impression.

As with Sonia’s the legs are mine, the background is a wall in my house, and I did a little photo manipulation to get the yellow color on my legs…which I know she didn’t do. But you work with what you have.

I did find that shooting this photo was very amusing as I situated myself up with my legs up the wall to do so. I’m glad I’m flexible like that.
