In the complete opposite direction of the prompt from two weeks ago, this past week’s prompt was “Low Key”, meaning “[s]imply put, it means that most of the frame is dark!” I did not complete the extra challenge this past week.
For this past week’s photo, I couldn’t quite figure out what I wanted to photograph. And then I spent the day at my Dad’s house where he has an interesting nautical scene created on a shelf. These two crabs are part of that display and are lit with blue light from above, which allowed me to focus on the small crab in the foreground and give the impression of the bigger “monster” crab lurking behind using the shadows.
